Default Season ahead

Hello Seahawks fans,

My best mate was a Seahawks fan, he actually posted on this form for a very short period I believe, and he passed away in May. I'd always kept an eye on the Seahawks, as a result, and rooted for them to go to the Super Bowl, so they could face the Patriots. Glad that happened once before he went.

Anyway, I was wondering what you guys think the major storylines are gonna be for the 'Hawks this year, I'm going to try to watch all their games, most likely condensed on GamePass, as I used to.

Off the top of my head the running back position seems an interesting one. Rawls obviously broke out last year but Michael looking good in preseason too.

Yes RB is interesting, we also spent a third round pick on Procise who is fighting Micheal for the number 2 spot or as a 3rd down back.

Tyler Lockett is another interesting story he joined as a rookie really as a return specialist but was very impressive as a rookie WR. He will be at least WR3 this season and could go higher.

The last couple of seasons we started with a very poor offensive line that we managed to get up to adequate by the end of the season. With the loses in the offensive line we could be poor there again and if so can we get it to improve during the season and if so how quickly will it happen?

Oh man. Last year was the first time I watched almost every Seahawks game, and your O line made our rotating bunch look like All-Pros. Hope it's better this year, maybe Russell won't have to run around like a headless chicken so much.

I'm pretty optimistic about this season. We were in great form last season until Carolina ran us over and I think, Lynch aside, we've strengthened in the off-season.

O-line will always be a worry, though. It's even worse now we have Boykin as our main backup. Wilson took a lot of hits last year, despite dodging even more.

I'm not sure if Baldwin will continue his form. He was on fire last season, but I can't really view him as an elite WR until he has more than one standout year. Lockett is good and will only get better and Kearse is fantastic when it comes to clutch passes. Hopefully Graham boosts the offense too, but I'm unsure if he'll come back 100% this season. His injury was really severe and he's injury-prone at the best of times anyway.

Defense should be as solid as always. I hope they sort out an agreement with Bennett though. Great pass-rushers are rare and he really is one of the best.
