I'm writing an off-season review for every team and my Redskins review got posted today. Feel free to check it out as I recap their free agency spending and their draft before giving a final review and grade.

I remember reading a Washington Post article midway through the season calling for the return of the championship winning white shirt/burgundy pants combo for home games.

Anyone got the all-time stats for burgundy pants versus yellow pants in terms of wins, play-off appearances, etc?

Wow!
Couldn't even begin to guess the answer to that!
But the one thing I can say is the White shirt & Burgundy pants look a hundred times better than the gold pants. & it certainly is the look I always associate with the glory days..

Agreed, it should be brought back. I assume the change was made to sell more jerseys, but when even the players are saying they feel better playing in white shirt/burgundy pants, then you know there's something in it.

I believe the reason for the change was down to Bruce Allen. Because that was the uniform when his father George Allen was our coach back in the 70's..

I guess I was far too cynical believing that commercial reasons may have played a part.

Would still like a switch back to the colour/uniform scheme we had during our successful period in the 1980's.
