Default Mitch Trubisky

Seems to be the lad touted as our 1st pick.

Anyone been watching him?

Is he the QB who is a fan of the Browns?

Yup that's the lad.

I don't follow college football at all, was just wondering if anyone's Ben watching him for North Carolina.

I don't follow the college game either. I saw a report that we have given Garrett a rave review though. It is a tough call whether to get your QB with the first pick or risk who's available later.
Unless RGIII improves, we will be picking a QB early as he seemingly missed a number of plays to be had vs Bengals. Hopefully Kessler will develop, but he seems a bit less confident than earlier and he doesn't threaten deep.

The ideal Draft is the Cowboys this year, where you're not reaching for the perceived best and a franchise guy falls to you. If only

This is Trubisky's first real season as a starting college QB...........

......apparently only 2 QB's with only 1 season's starting experience have been drafted in round 1 since 1970. Cam Newton and Mark Sanchez.

Take from that what you will.

At the risk of sounding dumb, as I have confessed I don't follow the college game, I'm keener to go QB at 1 if it looks like we can't acquire 'our guy' with #12. From what I had heard in the media, I was between Kizer and Trubisky from likely 1st rounders. Now, at the risk of falling in to an all to familiar trap, Trubisky is saying the right stuff and seems to have a good approach.
