Steelers look good right now, I fancy the trio to get them over the line here.

Steelers 20 Chiefs 17.

Think the match-ups on both sides of the ball just about favour the Steelers.

If the Chiefs can stop Bell then there's a chance that an interception-happy all pro secondary could have a good day against a banged up Big Ben who doesn't always perform as well on the road.

I just don't feel Bell can be controlled by the Chiefs whereas I reckon the Steeler D does match up well against Smith and co.

Chiefs 16-20 Steelers

Everyone's talking about the Steelers 3 B's but what about the Chiefs playmakers?

If the Steelers have to field a lame Roethliberger then this opportune Chiefs defense can capitalise, if he's good and mobile then the Steelers have a great chance.

This is tough to call but as I have said before, having a week's rest is a big advantage this late in the season. The Chiefs with that noisy home crowd will be spurred on to victory.

Steelers 17 Chiefs 23

Key here is establishing the running game and letting Bell do his thing. Historically, in the playoffs at least, the less we ask Ben to do the better: he's 7-0 passing under 225 yards, 5-6 over 225.
I figure if we can play like we did last week, maybe take the crowd out of the game early we've a pretty decent chance of winning it. Say 24-20

Steelers were impressive last week. I thought they had a playoff edge to them. The problem for the winner of this one is the date in Foxboro a week later. Pittsburgh have a bad record there, recording their only recent win when Brady was an injury absentee in '08. Can't see KC or Pitt getting it done at the Pats, which takes from the importance of this game in my view.

Baltimore & Denver could trouble the Pats in January. Going back a little further, the Jets & the Colts had their playoff moments against the Pats. Unfortunately, Pittsburgh & KC haven't demonstrated a capacity lately to trouble the Pats in January football.

Waited a little to see how the injury report developed, after his usual maintenance day yesterday Ben practiced fully today. Green probably won't play, didn't practice again and with a history of concussions can't clear protocol.

It's going to be a real close game this one, ultimately you'd expect the team that wins the turnover battle to win the game, I'm excited to see Bell in this cold weather game, if he goes like he did last week we'll probably win.

Tough tough one to call, I'll always back my guys so we take it with the last possession 27-24.
