Can't help but feel, despite McVay's 'genius', in the end Bill will make the better adjustments and the Pats will hold their nerve to win.

I wonder if Gurley will play a prominent role or not?

I'm hoping we get a good game, I have a feeling it's going to come down to the team that makes the better start, in an ideal world that'll be the Rams (can't being myself to support the Pats).

Brandin Cooks bowl! Hopefully this one goes a little better for him than last year’s...

Aaron Donald aside, I just don’t rate this Rams’ Defense. They allowed 30 or more points in almost half of their regular season games, and I expect Tom Brady to carve up their secondary on Sunday. Also think Sony Michel will at least get close to 100 yards.

The Rams have the firepower to seriously test an overachieving New England Defense, but they’ll need a far better effort from Todd Gurley than in the Championship Game. Ultimately, I think they’ll turn it over a couple of times and the Patriots will edge it.

Patriots 34 Rams 30

A reminder of last year’s game thread, where Lonestar almost won a bet and there was a lot of moaning about the catch rule...

and i still think its pretty silly to change the way the rule was used all year

We'll this is the first one I am not going to be able to watch all of, early rise in the morning. In all honesty and it sticks in my throat but this is a big win for the Pats. The Rams have won the right to be there, but they are not the team who can really take it to the them. Even Jerry Rice is saying the Rams have no chance,it would be nice to be proven wrong tonight.

So maybe getting to see the first quarter will be enough. Who knows, greatest game greatest final you just never can tell.

The first Super Bowl matchup between these two seems a lifetime ago now. I remember being amused by the Patriots somehow fluking their way through with a nobody rookie QB, and then coming out together instead of individually, and I honestly expected the Greatest Show on Turf to demolish them. How little I knew...

In a big blow for the Rams, they’ll be without their “get back” Coach tonight...

It might pick up a little later, but I doubt it'll be hard to keep track of this thread during the game.

I'm in the same boat as Mark (above), this might be the 1st SB in a long time that I don't watch all the way through live.
