LT could have learned a lesson in class from how Fred Taylor dealt with being released by the Jags a few years ago.

There was a story I think Rivers told, that when anybody is late to an offensive meeting the rest of the guys stand up and sarcastically clap him until he takes his seat. LT was the only guy they didn't do this to. It shows that LT was a weight around the neck of some players and they felt intimidated by him. Thats not necessarily LTs fault but it ain't the other players either.

It happens sometimes with a great player sometimes. The same situation happened with Thierry Henry and Arsenal a few years ago.
That's LT's fault?

He is a legend of the game, a HOF'er. He's proven more in this league than most of your players collectively.

He didn't blame anyone.
He specifically blamed the o line and coaching. He said the reason he didn't do well was because they didn't gameplan around him.

Judging by his performances this season he might have been right. The Jets OL has certainly helped but LT2 has surprised me too.

Yeah I'm not surprised thats a beast o line. He should get about 1k yards. He will have about 15 TDs too I'd say. He never lost his nose for the goal line.

I did?

I know you're saying it's not "necessarily" LT's fault but why would you mention it if you're not trying to attach some blame to him? I doubt LT would have said a thing had the players done that.

And you know what? Rivers and Gates should man the **** up. They are professional athletes and they're intimidated? Do me a favour...It absolutely 100% is the other players fault.

LT has been a classy guy throughout his hall of fame career.

Its a combo of the Jets OL and LT2 showing he does have some gas left imo. I must admit last season it looked like to me he was running on fumes and hitting the dreaded RB wall.
