No thanks. Trading draft picks should be avoided if you ask me, trading draft picks are the reason our depth is screwed at the moment.

Good player don't get me wrong but its a no from me.

You've gotta love the fact that D Ware is mentoring Tyron Smith in camp. Facing the leagues best pass rusher everyday in camp has gotta be great for a rookie tackle. Also really like the way Smith carries himself, seems like a clever down to earth guy. Hope he doesn't bust.

Hearing news that Hatcher has agreed terms to resign.

Osi is a big no from me, doesn't make a lick of sense. He is a great rush end but he will cost a 1st round pick and demand a huge contract... We are still feeling the pain of the Roy Williams deal and even Jerry isn't stupid enough to do that again. lol

Also got to remember that next season we have got over 20 mil in dead money. Throwing heaps of money at old players is not a good move for a 6-10 team. We need our draft picks.

but we wont be a 6-10 team this year, so adding experience should improve us.

True we might not be a 6-10 team but we are certainly not gonna be making a Superbowl run. Osi wouldn't be the final piece of the puzzle that we need to push us over the top.

What I'm saying is next season is gonna be worse than this one in terms of cap because 20mil is gonna be gone to players not even on the team. We just cannot afford a player like that, I mean we still need to sign a safety or two as it is.

i agree we need to sign 1 safety, but the best all seem to be tied up. we don`t want more second rate players we have enough of those already. so who is out there that can do a job?

I think the fact that we haven't jumped in for a safety yet tells us the coaches must like something they're seeing in camp from the guys we already have like Church and Akwasi.

Is it worth giving them a shot in a season with no expectations?

Same with Ogletree and our other receivers, they must also be doing something to deter the coaches from making any moves.

I think the thought process is they plan to have Akwasi and Church as the future starters so they don't want to spend big on a player for multiple years. Just wanna get a veteran in on a short term deal. A stop gap for the younger guys.

Its no secret Sensabaugh wants a long term deal and thats why he hasn't been resigned IMO.

Darren Sharper is a guy I like. Your gonna get him relatively cheap and on a 1 year deal. Sure his best days are behind him and has got some durability concerns but he is a natural leader and would be good player for Akwasi to work behind.
