the guy from France who spurs are expecting to pay £60m+ for only cost £7m last season from what I read so 1 good season somewhere and you are hot property.

James Maddison could make Leicester a nice profit if they cash in a West Ham have got people wanting there center half for 2 or 3 times his fee within 12 months.

In some ways it's like paying clubs to develop their players. They'd sooner pay twice as much for a player they have a need for, than pay half as much but then have to loan them out or limit their playing time.

I'm guessing Rodri is a Fernandinho successor? Don't really know too much about him tbh.
for teams with un-limited funding don't have to care about developing players and are happy to just keep paying full price and if your City and Pep wants some one you aren't going to play hard ball you just pay his release and everyone is happy.

interesting to see what happens when FIFA clamp down the number of players a team can loan out, will effect teams who buy to develop as much a Chelsea who seem to run a system where they buy then just use the loan system as a income stream.

Rafa Benitez leaving Newcastle when his contract expires at the end of the month with no agreement able to be reached on a new contract. Wonder if he'll take up the offer he's reportedly got from China or sticks around the European leagues.

if he wanted the China money he could have already accepted a deal so maybe he will wait around for the first big job to open come autumn/winter.

very easy to hammer Ashley but he paid him and backed him as best as possible but with the sale of the club dragging along how could they keep Rafa happy with a bigger transfer budget when Ashley just wants out and those kind of decisions need to be made by any new owner.

how often do these sort of hires result in long term success.hearing all day on sky that Lampard knows the club inside out,the fans love Frank blah blah blah but if they aren't in the top 4 and competing for silverware will the fans still be happy.

guessing he gets a season plus without any sort of pressure but Roman has hardly been about building for the future and more about winning now at all cost.

according to sky sports news "Spurs have signed some one",forgotten what this means....

seems Arsenal are pushing there look offering a whole £40m for Zaha when Palace have him valued at over £80m and also seem Man United get 25% of any sell on fee as part of there deal to sell him back.

Frank Lampard appointed Chelsea boss on a 3 year deal, if he gets that far...
The announcement was due to be made yesterday but Facebook and Instagram were having problems uploading pics and videos and the club wanted them fixed before making the announcement...

think when Derby "announced" Cocu was getting there job yesterday the cat was out of the bag.

all for home grown managers getting chances in the top flight but 1 season in the championship does seem un-fair on other candidates with actual winning records and CV's.

so Perez joins Leicester for £30m and newcastle now linked with Roberto Martinez even though he said he wanted to see out his Belgium contract.
