i reckon if jones-drew can get into rythmn early on i reckon the jags will have this one in the bag, i don't see any way the 49er's can win this one although their semi-comeback against the packers last week was ok

Jags 27
49er's 16

If our offence turns up we will win this game. Spread it out from the start give more room for Gore to run. Get Davis and Crabtree in the game early and not wait for us to go behind!

It's a bit of an issue that the 49ers offense doesn't really come to life until we're 24 points down...

Hopefully they'll try to play to Smith's strengths from the start, and the defense will turn up from the start of the game. They looked really rather good at the start of the season - where's that gone? Were we really that reliant on Allen Rossum & Nate Clements?

Could go either way this one.

The confidence is running high with smith. I think they might go with the spread early. If it pays off then we have a chance.
I am tired of having to rely on Gore and Davis. I think this could be Crabtree's game.

I think this one is a close call.

This is a massive game for the 9ers if we are to have any chance of making the playoffs. Win today then back to back divisional games against Seahawks and Cards.

I hadnt realised that the Jags had got to 6-4 thats a fair effort. I didnt expect them to do that well this season. Its a similar must win game for them if they want to go into the postseason. Should make for a good en!

Lets go 9ers!

Yea should be a good game. MJD & Jack Del Rio going back to where they grew up too.

I'll bet that whoever scores first wins the game.

Inactives: WR Nate Hughes, CB Rashean Mathis, DT Derek Landri, OT Tra Thomas, OT Maurice Williams, OL Paul McQuistan, DT Greg Peterson.

Not sure if Tra Thomas being inactive is indicative of Eugene Monroe's development or if he is injured?

If we have 3 OL on the inactive list, who does that leave?

Off the top of my head we would start with Monroe-Manuwai-Meester-Nwaneri-Britton and I can only think of Jordan Black beyond that? Am I missing someone?

Should make it an inresting game with both O lines below par. Can they keep the QB upright and can they create holes for Gore and MJD?

I think we need to start with Smith in the gun...pass to set up the run instead of the normal way!
