I'm not sure there was anything on the survey that said closing down the site was the best way to do that? Still, if anyone gave a **** what anyone on here thought we wouldn't be in this position in the first place.

well indeed, they seem to be blaming the flawed social media sites for the decline rather than themselves.

this sort of format is still good in this day and age as shown by reddit.

I’m not a member of the NFL UK Facebook group because:

1. We already had a FB group with thousands of members, so a new one was unnecessary

2. There appear to be a lot of idiots on there

However, having had a look on there today, there doesn’t seem to be a post about the forum move. Wouldn’t it be a good idea, considering it’s the “official” FB group?

Ha. Loved this little gem:

"Sunday nights on Twitter are full of NFL conversation, across the UK and US alike! Join the conversation"

149 characters isn't a conversation, it's a statement. Big difference.

Is the mobile version of the site working for anyone?

I'm currently only getting the desktop version on my phone, has been working absolutely fine until this morning.

I think that's what this forum is from now on sadly, non-mobile friendly.

Given the way the forum has been managed for the last 3 or 4 years, and the view from higher up that forums are going the way of the Dodo, i'd guess it's been made non-mobile friendly for a reason.

Not noticing any change on my phone tbh. Would try clearing cookies/cache to see if it makes a difference, but I’m worried I wouldn’t be able to sign back in...

Just the same as the desktop, but without the borders on the sides which don't appear to serve much purpose. There used to be an option to switch from desktop to mobile viewdown at the bottom but that disappeared (for me anyway) a while ago.

It's definitely changed today for me. Back to how it used to look a while back iirc. Zoomed out, hence the 'mobile unfriendly'.

Tried this and has made no difference unfortunately. Tried on both web browsers on my phone (Chrome and the default Samsung browser) also no joy. Feels as though NFLUK are quite happy to let this forum die a slow painful death

twitter is pretty much shouting into the world.

also some people treat it as a statement, if you post on here its clearly to be part of a debate.
