I'd be fine with just 1 LA team. Seems unlikely but it's still possible. The question of where the Chargers play the next few seasons if not San Diego is an interesting one. Can the Coliseum cope with the Rams, USC and the Chargers?

Apparently Mike Brown voted against the proposal, so it was likely him and Davis. And I've heard the reasons are that if the league makes loads of money from LA it will push the salary cap up even further and Brown doesn't want to spend the money!

Yet Fabiani has already released a counter-statement saying they've given no more thought to the L.A. proposal since Tuesday.

If you've seen the statement the Mayor of SD released it's clear there's going to be a whole load of bluff, double-bluff, denial and diversion between now and June.

Just the Rams head or its says Rams.

To be honest they aren't the only team to pretty much drop the location from most of their merchandise.

A move I'm against.
I hadn't noticed that. I'll give it a miss then.

Will the Rams move to LA result in teams moving around divisions/conferences?

It shouldn't do, LA is quite a bit more west than St Louis. If the Raiders and Chargers have moved in together then one of them would have likely had to move to the NFC, as if they had stayed in the same division both teams would effectively have 9 home games every year, but that's a moot point now.

Unlikely, they are already in the NFC west and they are just moving further west.

There could be potentially some realignment if the Raiders or Chargers move to another city that isn't LA. But even then it's probably unlikely. St Louis was actually closer to the east coast of America than the west coast but that didn't stop the Rams playing in the west.

And who could forget the Carolina Panthers playing in the NFC west.

Thanks.

It didn't occur to me to actually check what division they're currently in, I just assumed they would have been in a closer division to St Louis.

I do wonder if the Chargers will wait until June to make a decision.

Rams spend nearly 50 years in LA prior to the move to St. Louis, hence why they're in NFC West.
