Default NFL draft - good move

NFL have confirmed it won't show draftees on the phone in the green room before the announced pick on the first night of the draft.

Yeah definately, takes away all the suspense when you see the pick on the phone before its even announced, especially with the 1st round picks.

Sounds like good news but remains to be seen how it plays out. Surely the analysts on set are going to become aware of the pick before Goodell reads it out; what do they do/say in the interim? If they start making very good 'predictions' then it'll be pretty obvious

Still, a move in the right direction for sure.

This is only on NFL Network coverage isn't it? ESPN can still do so if they choose to and I'll be watching it on ESPN America unfortunately

My understanding is that we just don't know yet. Still a shocker, but I wouldn't be suprised if it does end up being on.

Good move. Last year when some of the QBs were taken really high compared to predictions we didn't know till Goodell announced it which really did make it shocking.
