Yep i have a feeling that they will stick with Green cos hey-they drafted him and will stick by him despite everyone knowing hes not good enough ah well theres only Curry to face off against, but Clayborn wasnt really a sacker anyway, guess what, they also have a a rookie called Barnett

Looking through the play off scenarios we need to be cheering for the Saints, Panthers and Vikings to win out...........and hope we win out too.

If the Falcons win 2 of their last 3 we're basically done, even at 10-6.

If Green Bay go 3-0 we're done, even at 10-6.

If we lose to anyone......we're done.

Think we win Raiders game and Zeke is back for the Hawks game then Eagles without Wentz, its possible we can win all 3 but fate needs to take a helping hand

If the Buccs could somehow turnover the Falcons this weekend that would be great. Can't see it though, and the more I think about it that loss to the Falcons is going to be the one that crushes our play-off hopes. The Falcons owning the head-to-head on us is a killer.

I,m confident we can win both remaining games, Hawks is going to be tough, but Zeke is back, and the Eagles without Wentz is a lot easier than with

2 tough games. I'm not sure on what needs to/can happen, but if the Eagles had nothing to play for in week 17 that would be good.

Can't look too far ahead though, corralling Russell Wilson is the first thing we need to do.......and get Tyron Smith healthy too!

Smith aint gonna be healthy till next yr bud, he has back/groin probs, and the only cure is rest, hes looked a shadow of his former all season and needs a break, trouble is, we have no one to fill in at this level which is a shortsight on staff imo-sticking with Green is pure stubborness wish we had kept Parnell now who has grown into a decent Tackle

You're probably right when it comes to Smith getting healthy, patching him up each week is probably the best they can hope for.

As for Green, I think the coaching staff convinced themselves if he could get (and stay) healthy he'd be good enough as a swing tackle. The Falcons game answered that one. As for Parnell, they gave him a pretty big contract in Jacksonville, doubt the Cowboys could have matched it. Plus, Parnell is more of a RT type, although he perhaps would have done a better job than Green/Bell.

It's tough to find a swing tackle though. Free agency is expensive, and decent OT's want the chance to start, which in Dallas is unlikely. The Draft is the best route, but O linemen coming out of college seem to be less prepared than ever to handle NFL competition. The Cowboys spent a 3rd on Green, and that's about as high as they are going to go for a back up. They need to get lucky and land a competent OT in those middle rounds.
