Default Your team's Mt. Rushmore

Similar to NBC's concept where you pick the four faces of your (or any) franchise's history.

Don't have time right now personally, so next one may begin!

This is difficult outside of Al and Madden

Hard to leave off Upshaw, Freddie B., Marcus, Hendricks, Stabler and Howie.

If you were to ask me, who do you think of first when you think of the Raiders it would be:
Al
Madden
Freddie
Marcus Allen

No Ray Guy ??

He should be in the Hall of Fame and should be considered for this

Well you can't include everyone and since he's a punter...he would be behind some of the guys.

Really really really difficult for me to exclude this guy especially...it was between him and Willie Brown.

If there were 5 - he would be on it. Hell, maybe replace Madden...I don't know.

But he's just a total Raider personified along with Otto - down and dirty and scrappy.

Agreed - beyond the locks that are Davis & Madden, it's very tough to decide.

Going with:

Al Davis
John Madden
Jim Otto
Howie Long - Edging it for me on the basis that; A) He played for the Raiders his whole career, and; B) I got to see a decent part of that career by getting into the NFL in the mid to late 80's.

Can't really go wrong with a number of choices for that 4th spot though.
Certainly I like the idea of a DB in there.

How difficult is picking the Dallas 4? -

Surely you have to have Emmitt Smith, but then what about Tony Dorsett?
Is Bob Lily a must?
Then do you take Aikman over Staubach? Michael Irvin as well?...but then what about Tom Landry? Guess you have him over Jimmy Johnson, but then there is Tex Schramm...plus I must have forgotten some other deserving players...glad I don't have to pick them.

I don't think it's too difficult...

Landry and Staubachs are locks - so you start there. Founding fathers and HOFers.

Then Emmitt Smith....
...and you need a defensive player so Bob Lily.

Little? Why not him? Or Zimm? Why is Davis on there? He was in the league for the Broncos for a cup of coffee.
