Arrow The Good, The Bad And The Ugly 2014

What are your picks for the surprise good, the bad and the downright ugly for 2014 in terms of team records?

Good

Pittsburgh Steelers 11-5 and at least a Divisional game.

Bad

Carolina Panthers 7-9 and a horrible road record.

Ugly

Kansas City Chiefs 6-10 and a complete reversal with their 2014 schedule and roster.

I was going to same the same as you for the good and the bad. The ugly I'm picking Cincinnati Bengals to fall to around 5-6 wins in a tougher division than last years.

Good

Yeah I'm going for the Steelers too - topping the AFC North.

Bad

Manning hits the cliff, Broncos to miss the playoffs with a 9-7 record.

Ugly

Falcons to not make a jump back. 5-11.

Good

Atlanta Falcons 11-5
Can see them having a great year and recovering from last years disaster.

Bad
Houston Texans 6-8
With Fitzpatrick at QB I really can't see them doing anything.

Ugly
Dallas Cowboys 3-13
Missing so much on defence and Romo won't last the season.

I very nearly went for Dallas myself. I just think with Murray and Bryant, Witten and Williams they have enough in a division where a shootout can land in your favour. I gave them the benefit of the doubt over Romo's health. Could so easily go the other way, mind.

Can you class the Texans as bad if they are better off than last season?

Good:

Chicago Bears- However this depends if Cutler stays on the field for 14-16 games

Bad:

Miami Dolphins- Phillbin first coach sacked

Ugly:

Tennessee Titans- Collecting the no.1 pick

I've seen a few folks having the same opinion what with playing the NFC West, general schedule and their secondary not getting it done. Then I've seen others saying that the secondary has been solidified, Miller is back for the sack tally to go up and they will again be AFC champs. Seems to be a lot of polarized opinions on the Broncos.

Good

Chargers - Rivers dethrones Peyton & Co to win the division.

Bad

Bills - Sammy Watkins will be a good player, but people will still question the trade when their season falls apart.

Ugly

Dallas - If Romo doesn't remain healthy things will get real ugly. Especially in light of Orton's absence and passing on Manziel. (Although I actually have a strange amount of faith in Weeden )

I do like Watkins as a player, one of the best receivers in the draft but agree with that. I think they'll be looking for a new QB next off-season and with no 1st round pick that will be difficult.

I'd hold unless Manning hits a cliff it'll be the same as many Colts seasons.

If other positions start to fail, Manning takes them all his back and carries them over the regular season finishing line..
