Adams, Ford, Wilson and Glazer have all passed away since the end of last year.

I wonder how Man Utd fans will react to this news.

I dont think it'll make a blind bit of difference to United. The brothers will just own them now.

The majority on twitter have been very respectful.

One or two have been beyond disgusting.

Don't know why they would react at all, he bought the team for his sons who run the club it has zero affect.

They can be silly and call him a leprechaun but Malcolm was a non factor at United.

Why would they not react? He was the owner of their club and deeply unpopular with a large section of their support. As HST stated, the vast majority of the reaction has been respectful, but there are still a few idiots hoping "he burns in hell for *expletive* ruining our club.

Sure, it was the same when Art Modell died. There were some who even compared him to Hitler.

Many reasons why they shouldn't react. 1. He was a figurehead not the true Owner. 2. We knock other clubs like Liverpool when they show no class by supporting a racist or Leeds fans who mock the Munich air disaster, so I hoped our fans would not by hypocrites and would show some class. 3. Its just a poxy football team it isn't life or death. 4. The Glazers did nothing illegal in buying the team. Fans should have protested the second we decided to float on the stock market. Once on there anything was possible and thus we got the Glazers. 5. We have had plenty of success with them owning the club. Last season was dire but a few years post Fergie in the wilderness was inevitable.

FC United fans have been appalling and unapologetic in their delight at his passing.

I don't agree with their comments but everyone has the right to an opinion.
