Who would it be?

Obviously for the Giants it would have to be the greatest defensive player of all time, the original and only L.T. Lawrence Taylor.

Following your way of thinking. Iron Mike Singeltary.

Some might want Payton back - and that would of course be special. But Mike could go a long way to curing the defensive woes all by himself.

Slimish pickings for Jags. Fred Taylor is probably the most revered player by the fans but RB has so little importance in the modern game.

So it's a choice between a Boselli that holds up for more years or a less messed up Jimmy Smith.

I think positions have about the same importance these days so I'd take Boselli as he was probably a better player in his prime.

Tough. Obvious, probably most popular choice among Steelers fans would be Mean Joe. But we're probably short on pass rushers, so maybe James Harrison? Or our cornerbacks are still a bit iffy, so Rod Woodson?

In short I don't know! But with a gun to my head I'd probably take Woodson.

assuming its by team you support for me it's either reggie white or brian dawkins for me. We need pass rushers and they don't come any better than reggie white. Still need a safety so why not go for a guy you know can play in the modern era, be a leader and give you 13+ good years?

Gotta be Bdawk

Marshall Faulk. He's the reason I think I supported the Rams when I started watching NFL in about 2002/2003.

I would pick the actual greatest defensive player of all time, Ray Lewis.

Lewis was everything to the Ravens. He wasn't just an all time great on the field, he was an incredibly inspirational leader, the face of the franchise and a lightning rod that the rest of the team could rally around. Our Defense would regain the nasty hard hitting persona it once had if it had Suga back at the heart of it in his prime.

I miss him.

I would probably go for either Steve Largent or Walter Jones. Probably Steve Largent as him opposite Percy would give us a real double threat at WR

Lester Hayes. Assuming stickum is still banned, I'll take Howie Long.
