Default Donovan McNabb comments on Jay Cutler

I'm not the biggest fan of Jay Cutler although I find that most of the criticism he receives from people is unjustified. However McNabb's comment was as follows "Jay Cutler isn't a winner, he is the Tony Romo of the Midwest". That's rich coming from a guy who had one good season. And also an insult of Tony Romo also who has looked rather fantastic this season. I find comments like this from ex players just baffling considering Cutler has better all round skills than McNabb ever had.

I doubt Jay Cutler will lose much sleep over it. Nor should he. McNabb was a good QB but he was no Dan Marino himself.

There are a lot of teams that would love Cutler or Romo as their QB. The Bears problems is certainly not with their offense which is probably the best and most well balanced in the 30 odd years I've been watching the NFL.

Romo is suddenly 'winning' because Dallas also have a well balanced offense with the league's hottest RB, while the OL and entire defense from a liability to a strength.

McFlab is the last person who should accuse other players as not winners... How many times did he choke when the prize was within reach?

I think McFlabb and the haters should check the stats, for all Jay Cutlers faults and bad moments this season his still in the top 5 of current QB'S.

Ahead of QB'S like Foles, Flacco, and yes the darling that is Romo.

It is however cool to hate on Jay cutler so keep the hate up.

Pot - Kettle

I like Cutler but he just has the tendency to make bone headed decisions. Not a great attribute as an NFL QB.

.
Don't get me wrong, I like Cutler, but Top 5 is a big claim seeing as the top 4 are essentially locked in and don't include Cutler.

I should have made myself clear sorry I meant on current stats which is a reflection upon how they are playing. Everyone is gushing over Tony Romo yet he cant touch Jay at present in the stats which is the indication of how they are all playing.
