Brilliant draft and it doesn't even start for over a week

The more i look at this, the more i think the Browns may have made a rare good move. A QB now wouldn't have really helped them. They are ripping that team to pieces and starting again, they aren't 2 years away, i know, us Jags are in year 4 of the 5 year plan. They got an #8 pick this year, 1st round next year and a 2nd round in 2018. That's going to give them some real options a few years down the road. Guess they just need to not 'Cleveland' it.

But what on earth are the Eagles doing? Give Bradford $18m a year and then trade the next 2 years for Wentz? And i thought Chip Kelly was the problem in Philly! Also means the Browns still have a top 10 pick this year.

Bizzare from Philly. Maybe they shock us and don't take a QB but they probably will. Going to be big pressure on two young QBs. Makes me wonder why no one tried trading up for Winston last year.

How do you know they didn't?

Winston and Mariota were much better prospects than Goff or Wentz, and the two teams at the top of the draft needed QB's

Just shows again the prospect of landing a QB that is hopefully better than average is worth so much in the NFL.

Sure the Browns need a full rebuild and this will help them greatly, but while they collect the plaudits now what if the 2nd QB turns out to a be a good player? It's still a big, big risk for them to take.

Finally the Browns commit to a full rebuild and start putting a premium on having players in other positions not just the QB position. The Browns have needed this for a while now. The eagles on the other hand for me it's a bad move from the eagles point of view but that's because I don't love any QB inn this draft good enough to put the house on

Given what it cost the Eagles to move up 6 spots, there's no way Denver would've been able to afford it. Also, I can't imagine Cleveland would've wanted to move down that far to Pick 31, especially given they already have a defacto 1st round pick with Pick 32 in that region.

My 'bold' prediction that the Browns trade Joe Thomas and pick an o lineman is looking a little less bold. I still think there is a high chance of this happening, and from this move it probably isn't Tunsil they were hoping for.
