Pretty much mate. Makes you wonder what people are like in real life when there are bigger issues in the world than moaning over too much coverage of the NFC East for example

You are right on that.

And as late as it was for NFLUK to get a tv deal done, at least they did it before the season started. I think that the NBA will wait until the free trial period for the league pass is finished before any tv deal is announced now, if there turns out be one.

When I was kid in the 90's there was a decent bit of NBA coverage on terrestrial tv. Remember those early morning shows Mark Webster and Beverly Turner used to present. Was also subscribed to an english NBA magazine called XXL (not the rap mag) if anyone remembers that.

I imagine it was a result of the 'Jordan effect' but it does make me wonder why the NBA has seen a lack of popularity in this country in the last decade as its a game I'd imagine would appeal to the uninitiated more than american football.

Didn't realise there were so many games being played over the next couple of days. Went ahead and got the free trial for now (i'll cancel it on the morning of the 7th) I'll be getting to see a game or two of Raptors though. Including a game against the Nets on saturday

The lakers: proof that chemistry is the most important factor in team success on the court.

I've no doubt they'll find it and start winning soon, but people talking about 65+ wins are out of their minds

0-10 in ore season and now starting the season 0-2. Nash didn't play the 2nd half last night due to a leg injury and the clippers are up next on Saturday. This is going to be a tough couple of weeks for the Lakers in which they need to develop some on court chemistry whilst some players are playing injured.

It couldn't happen to a nicer team lol
