Sahin

Probably about 70 million quids worth of talent there, But reports that Sahin has a 6 million euro release clause. Bargain

And if Bayern dont get into CL next year, look for Robben and Ribery to look elsewhere, thier German Icons like Muller, Lahm, Schweinsteiger will be almost imposssible to tempt though.

And then there is Neuer, whom I think is the worlds best goalie based on the last year or so.

Would love Robben or Ribery, and of course Muller.

Robben's a 15 game a season player, while i really don't think Ribery is all that he is made out to be.

Did anyone else think Real were strangely defensive tonight? I don't understand why. Although Jose knows more about football than me, so I assume he has his reasons.

Lightbulb

I fancy Jose was taking a leaf out of the coaching manual of Ray Harford and utilising the "imploding/exploding star" gameplan. Which required a lot of absorbing pressure until you were compressed very, very tightly (like a black hole) then unexpectedly bursting out, running around a bit and scoring (like a starburst). Then back to absorbing pressure again.

It was very successful, but you do need an outstanding seven man defence and a great striker. And someone in the team who could understand an astronomical analogy. Luckily we had Graeme Le Saux who, legend has it, read a broadsheet newspaper.
