That team had so much young talent. Fowler, Redknapp, McManaman etc.

.......which wasn't realised to the extent the similar age group at ManU managed. Fowler faded away at far too young an age, Redknapp unfortunately slowed by injury. McManaman's career was probably the most successful, after a good spell in Spain.

That LFC team had too many overpaid, underacheiving individuals

Also I cant believe people are gonna pay £40 million for Pastore, I made a post about him 2 years ago here, when he was worth £ 5 million !!!
Its our labor laws, we cant sign players with no international experience, and Italian clubs can fleece us a couple of years later. Making profits of 300 or 400 %

Its gonna happen with Thiago Silva as well.

And in 2 years with Erik Lamela as well.

From the very, very little I have seen him, I wasn't impressed. If he is Harry's answer to the problems up top them I really won't be looking forward to next season.

Speaking of Erik Lamela, seems Milan have the inside track....
Top player.

AC Milan have again turned their attentions to River Plate youngster Erik Lamela as a deal for Santos playmaker Ganso looks more unlikely, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Lamela has now become one of AC Milan's primary targets again, and the Italian giants have reportedly already spoken with Marcelo Simonian, the player's agent.

The promising midfielder will not be available on the cheap, though, as River have set a €20 million (£17.4m) asking price for the 19 year old starlet.

Roy Evans is a top guy, but a pretty average manager. Someone different might have gotten more from us. That team we had was very good.

Robbie was never the same after the Achilles injury.

As for the rest, accurate, although again a better manager would probably have gotten more.

Sampdoria relegated yesterday..after being 90 seconds away from the Group Stages of the Champions league last August..

Talk about a fall from grace....
