Athletico deserved it. Best team throughout the season, and the best team on the day. Barca, whilst still very good, are not what they were a few years ago.

Going to be more shouts for Goal line tech (Torlinientechnik) in Germany after this game.

Bayern Munich are simply a class above everyone else in Germany. It's going to be a long time before someone will be ready to compete with them in the Bundesliga.

I have a feeling though that Red Bull once they get into the 1.Liga will eventually give Bayern Munich a tough time as they will throw money after money after money at the team in Leipzig to win the Bundesliga.

Anyway tomorrow game is far more intresting anyway the clock at Hamburg will stop ticking tomorrow evening if they lose to Greuther Furth.

not in yesterdays game, a blind lino seemed to be the key

but over the course of a season its hard to see anyone matching them and if someone does they will just take there talent.

Not if their loaded with money which RB Leipzig will be when they eventually get into the 1.Liga in a couple of years time.

Red Bull the company is worth £4-5 Billion i reckon they have more and enough resources to help make RB Leipzig a force in Germany. Only thing that may stop them is when RB Leipzig finally get into Europe and UEFA finally realize maybe there is a conflict of interest between Leipzig and Salzburg.

My prediction by 2018 RB Leipzig will be in the Champions League Group Stage

2014-15 they'll finish mid table in 2.Liga
2015-16 they'll win Promotion into 1.Liga
2016-17 they'll finish 10th-14th in 1.Liga
2017-18 they'll spend heavy and finish in the top 4

So, I take it they're not using goal-line technology in Germany?
