Post Super Bash - History

For some years I have been thinking as the Super Bash parties have been such a success and going strong for over a decade now can't believe there's no Wikipedia page on them?

I mean from memory I can't remember what year the first ever official NFL UK Super Bash in the UK happened nor recall which acts and special guests made appearances in what year / Bash. Therefor I thought a dedicated section on the Super Bashes would be good. For me it is being able to share and reminisce in equal measure about an event that has become my favourite night out of the year celebrating my favourite sport in the world.

So below is an on going list of what happened at what Super Bash when I am 100% sure of the facts will add more information in as and when I find it out and am 100% sure of it. If anyone has any more info or any one at NFLUK wants to help aide me in this thread please fee free to post or get in contact with me. All contributions welcomed.

Maybe I am a geek but never thought these parties would become an annual event and for me it's the highlight of my year - all be it at the start of one - but to me end of a season for the greatest sport on earth!

Lastly I am not a camera happy person and sadly have very few pictures considering I have attended every single Super Bash but what ones I do have are in a public album anyone can view on Facebook (just follow the link after this paragraph). Please feel free to copy any pics you want from the album and if anyone has any pics from Super Bashes they don't mind sharing I would very much like to peruse them and copy the best ones for inclusion in this album for all to view and copy if they so wish - so if your cool with that please get in touch or post a link on this thread where I can go see your Super Bash pictures. Thanks.

Any way over to you NFLUK Boffins.

As best I can recall and verify he's what information I have on Super Bashes hosted so far:

Super Bash I (2004) - Ministry of Sound (Elephant & Castle)
(New England Patriots v Carolina Panthers)

Standup comic Richard Blackwood acted as the host and MC at Super Bash I, the biggest-ever Super Bowl party to be held in the UK at the time. Brit Award nominees 'Big Brovaz' where the main music act.

Also on the roster were high-profile dance and comedy performers 'The Cuban Brothers'.

My personal memory form this bash were the Terry Tate Office Line-Backer skits we got to see on the massive screen when ever the TV feed I guess went for a commercial break during the Super Bowl coverage... I think these where meant or used in the US broadcasting but think someone skilled on the night cut them in for us or perhaps we were getting the US feed and not Sky's but whatever it was my first time ever seeing them and by the end of the night think had seen all of them - they were very funny imo.

Someone has put them all together on YouTube so can be viewed here if your interested: http://youtu.be/tooY9nLezL0

Impressive, they managed a lineup that would even make Jags fans yawn...

Please can you add on to 2012 the Chicago Bears Drumline. In my honest unbiased opinion they are the best drumline I have seen over here so far!

Thanks all helps and will update every so often with what people leave me on here (this thread) - am sure somewhere in the NFLUK London offices all this info is filled away most likely should anyone with access ever read this thread.

Thanks mikeyshaps but can only add when people are sure - I know loads of bits and bobs like The Saturdays was at one Bash and the Cuban Brothers were at several but only want to update the above when peeps are sure of their facts and dates. This will be a labour of love and am sure people over time will furnish me with who, what where and when.

I'm pretty sure Richard Blackwood compared the very first one at E&C but not listing it yet as not 100% sure.
